Scott has 40 years of investment experience and has been professionally registered for 28. He has been a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner since 2004, specializing in comprehensive financial planning: Retirement planning, estate planning, tax-strategy planning, risk management/insurance planning, investment strategy planning for wealth accumulation, and business succession planning. Scott is working towards two designations: a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
As a CFP® and an Investment Advisor Representative, Scott is a fiduciary and held to a Fiduciary Standard of Care. This standard puts clients' needs before his or his employer. He aims to help as many people as possible achieve financial security for themselves and their heirs.
Scott was born and raised in Southern California. He is married to his wife, Karla, and is blessed with two amazing children, Melika and Dante. They enjoy missionary work when time permits, camping, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, Kayaking, cooking, BBQ/smoking, gardening, and actively participating in the development of their children. Scott served proudly in the US military and received numerous commendations for his service - the Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal as well as being Soldier of the quarter and year for his Company, Battalion, Brigade, and Group, and was runner-up for Soldier of the Quarter 8th Army Korea and runner up for Soldier of the Year for Ft. Lewis, Washington. Scott graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. from the Marshall School of Business in 1995.
